Chris Jacks, Intern

Covenant Theological Seminary

lk

Chris is an intern with Generations Counseling and plans to graduate from Covenant Theological Seminary in 2025. Chris has over five years of professional and personal experience including working in a Corporate, Non-Profit, and Ministry setting.

Chris believes that people are full of both meaning and purpose, and through the therapeutic process can learn more about this by engaging and entering into their own story. Often in life we struggle to find purpose in the midst of the brokenness we experience: suffering, pain, trauma, and loss. When we arrive at these places, the therapeutic process of relationship can help engage these experiences intentionally. In this journey we begin to unravel and untangle the challenges that we face as a result of life, and slowly move forward together.

When he is not at the office, Chris enjoys walks at a park with his wife and his black lab/german shepherd mix, Phelps. He also enjoys a good cup of coffee, sports, and listening to jam bands.

Chris works with individuals, couples, families, teenagers, and children. His areas of interest include: trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction, grief, ADD/ADHD, substance use disorders/long-term recovery, interpersonal relational challenges, spiritual abuse, and martial challenges.
