Ellie received her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Louis University. She is currently a Provisional Licensed Marital and Family Therapist and has worked within the counseling field for almost 8 years. She works from a Family Systems perspective, meaning that it is important to know about you, your family, friends, work and community. Ellie believes that individuals wear different hats throughout the day, and is curious into understanding how clients feel about fitting in these various roles, knowing that many people might feel alone and push themselves just to get through the day. As a therapist, she focuses on structuring a safe environment for individuals and couples to take a step back, identify their interaction cycle, and feel comfortable expressing their most vulnerable feelings to their loved ones, leading to new and positive interactions. By increasing the emotional responsiveness within the system, members won’t unwillingly push others away in their attempts to be closer.

Ellie firmly believes that starting therapy requires bravery and is committed to collaborating with clients on finding meaning and purpose through the different moments of life. She provides therapy for individuals, couples, teens and family.
